Green Doublet
Green doublet synthetic gemstones are composite stones made from two distinct layers bonded together to create the appearance of a natural gemstone. These doublets typically consist of a synthetic or natural gem material on the top (crown) and a different material on the bottom (pavilion), often glass or another synthetic substance. The result is a gemstone that looks like a solid gem but is more affordable and accessible. The top layer provides the color and brilliance of the stone, while the bottom layer supports and enhances the appearance. They are designed to mimic the look of high-quality green gemstones like emeralds or green tourmaline. It is more affordable than solid natural or high-quality synthetic gemstones because of the use of less expensive materials in the lower layer and is commonly used in jewelry, including rings, earrings, pendants, and brooches.
